Currently, if you own, run, or manage parking lots, you either have a gate-based system that ensures car owners pay for their parking or you have a gateless system that depends on your personnel for enforcement.
Gate-based solutions are expensive to install and maintain, and they ensure compliance only when operational. Maintenance of these systems often forces you to leave gates up.
While current gateless solutions mitigate the loss associated with open gates, they require that personnel be in the right place at the right time to ticket vehicles in violation. This can lead either to overstaffing and/or lost revenue.
What if there was a better parking lot solution that replaced gates altogether? And, what if, at the same time, that solution limited the need for the constant presence of parking personnel?
